In this session, you’ll learn:
✅ How to structure reports for easy readability
✅ Effective terminology that aligns with NDIS requirements
✅ NDIS-preferred assessments to strengthen your recommendations
✅ How to complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs) effectively
✅ Common mistakes to avoid when writing reports
Jeanette will also review your current report and provide detailed feedback during the session. This hands-on approach ensures you receive practical, tailored advice to improve your report-writing skills.
💡 We recommend sending an example report (with participant details removed) prior to your booking for discussion.
With years of experience working alongside therapists and LACs, Jeanette has refined the art of report writing to achieve maximum results. Whether you're new to NDIS reporting or looking to improve your existing skills, this session will provide practical strategies and insights to enhance your reports and advocate effectively for your participants.
Here is how easily terms can be mis-interpreted.
Let's take the following statement as an example.
"AAA is always taken into account when dealing with MDD and as a requirement may include CBA."
If your field of expertise was in the sporting field, the following acronyms could mean.
“(AAA) Amateur Athletic Association, is always taken into account when dealing with (MDD) Membership Development Director and as a requirement may include (CBA) Chinese Basketball Association"
The meaning in the NDIS world.....
"(AAA) Access For All Abilities, is always taken into account when dealing with (MDD) Major Depressive Disorder and as a requirement may include (CBA) Cognitive Behavioural Assessment"
If your answer is "NO" this is the training for you!
It has been designed for those who wish to have a more in-depth knowledge of the level and type of funding within the NDIS Plan.
It is a great starting point for NDIS Participants, Parents, Carers and People working within the NDIS sector.
We Will Help You With:
Breakdown of funding and its types within the NDIS Plan.
How to utilise your NDIS funding
The NDIS Access Request is the first step in accessing the NDIS for funding to assist, build skills, and access supports services.
This workshop is for anyone that is thinking of or applying for the NDIS.
It will guide you through the NDIS Access Request process from start to finish.
It is essential that both Participants and Service Providers have an understanding of Price Limits. This allows both to work on the amount of a given Service that will be provided given the funding available in the Participants Plan.
There is a lot of Confusion, and Misunderstanding around what the NDIS Funding can be used for. Often Participants are loth to spend in case they utilise the funding in the wrong way, or they are having difficulty knowing who can supply the services they require. In some cases there are long waiting lists for given Services.
If they are NDIA Managed, Plan Managed or Self Managed there is often confusion around do I have to use the services of a Registered Provider or can I use a Non Registered Provider.
Let us demystify the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits guide for you.
